Sri Lanka Care along with its local partners, Hathbodhi Housing Project and the Vajira Sri Children’s Home, have:

• Provided 250 permanent, high quality homes
• Improved the lives of hundreds of families;
• Empowered approx 55 families with trade tools to restart local businesses;
• Constructed a new wing for Sri Lanka’s largest combination orphanage/school, the Vajira Sri Children’s Home;
• Constructed a new kitchen for the Vajira Sri Children’s Home
• Enhanced the lives of 400 school children at Vajira by supplying essential provision such as meals, materials, teaching curricula, mentors, and computer classes;
• Built an entire school wing at the Dombagoda Maha Vidyalaya School for rural, poor children in the District of Galle;
• Built a classroom block and library at the Ampe Vidalhya College in Galle District
• Built a classroom block, renovated the toilet area and rehabilitated the playground at Marawatagedaramulle Junior School in Weligama, Galle District
• Completed a pilot program to teach computing basics and Information Technology to students at Vajira.
• Sponsored over 100 impoverished school students for school fees, shoes, tuition classes and school supplies.
